you have the powershot s4is or s5is, as i recall? did you upgrade to a dSLR, or is there a way to mount a different lens on that camera?

i just ordered my first non-phone digital camera the other day. i deliberated for a long time between the canon g10 and panasonic LX3. finally settled on the LX3.

My S2 died right after I got back from El Salvador. It still records sound, but the sensor died. I went with the Canon XSi, and the 17-55 f/2.8 lens. I have the lenses my dad had too, the 50mm f/1.8 which can be very sharp, and the sharp as a Koosh ball put 17-200 Tamron. I loved the S2, but it was time. Oh, and Lightroom - it was time for that too.
